  • Stress-related changes in energy, focus, or mood

  • Burnout related to work, caregiving, or long-term overextension

Beyond Symptoms: Understanding the Patterns Beneath Stress

In treatment, we may also examine the underlying patterns that contribute to chronic stress, anxiety, and burnout, including:

  • People-pleasing or fawn responses that have become difficult to sustain

  • Difficulty setting limits with parents, partners, family members, or work

  • Perfectionism, self-criticism, and difficulty resting

  • Anxiety that intensifies when you are not achieving or producing

  • Relational dynamics shaped by high-achieving family systems

How We Work Together

Our work begins with a comprehensive initial evaluation. From there, we build a treatment plan that fits you. For most patients, this looks like ongoing weekly or biweekly therapy sessions. For some, medication is part of the picture as well, and we make that decision together based on your needs and goals.

  • The initial evaluation is a comprehensive psychiatric assessment offering a thoughtful and in-depth exploration of your mental health and well-being. I will take the time to understand your unique story, including your social, psychiatric, and medical history, current experiences, and treatment goals. Together, we will craft an individualized plan designed to support your growth and healing. This evaluation serves as the foundation for a personalized approach to your mental health care, ensuring that each step forward is tailored to you.
